Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has introduced a new X-series lineup. The company has finally launched the Gionee X1 in India carrying a price tag of Rs 8,999.
The Gionee X1 puts on a 5-inch HD in-cell display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Earlier, we also saw the Gionee A1 sporting the same in-cell display offering a vivid picture quality and crisp output that is only found in AMOLED panels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset ticking at 1.3GHz. Accompanying the processor, the phone gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage further expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.
Camera & Battery:
For shutterbugs, the phone sports an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Up front, it sports another 8-megapixel snapper with an aperture size of f/2.4. The phone also houses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster besides the rear flash. It runs the Amigo OS 4.0 built on top of Android 7.0 Nougat. It measures 144.3 x 72.2 x 8.8 mm and weighs 145 grams. Powering all, the phone packs in a 3,000mAh battery backed with ultra-fast charging claimed to fully charge the device in 125 minutes. The battery is claimed to provide up to 27 hours of talk time and up to 209 hours of standby time.
For connectivity, the Gionee X1 gets all the standard features such as 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It is a Dual SIM phone and also extends support for 4G VoLTE.
